The Willow restaurant in Pateley Bridge is a traditional English Cottage Restaurant having a quiet and intimate atmosphere set in an eighteenth century, oak beamed cottage. It is owned and run by head chef Margaret Ninness, whose creative hand is responsible for the excellence of the cuisine.
All our food is freshly prepared on the premises using local produce, which includes Nidderdale Lamb, locally-caught trout, and fresh sea fish from the Yorkshire Coast. Because all our dishes are prepared individually from fresh ingredients, we can usually accommodate special diets.
Whether it's a quiet, intimate dinner for two, a family occasion, or a group dinner party, you can be equally assured of fine food in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The Willow restaurant offers all this in the beautiful surroundings of Pateley Bridge itself.
Our love for locally sourced ingredients shows in our seasonal menus. Offering the best of what the Yorkshire Dales has to offer throughout the year.
The Willow is, of course, fully licensed, and has a welcoming bar area, and a carefully stocked cellar of excellent wines. Which means you can enjoy a fully relaxed evening, have a drink and maybe even stay in one of our 4 star guest rooms.
Also available are morning coffee and afternoon teas, which include such treats as Margaret's home-baked scones and cakes, homemade fudge, and puddings and sweets. The Willow restaurant provides a perfect combination of beautifully home cooked food, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
